Abstract:A multifunctional structured silicon with enhanced optical and photoelectric properties has been processed by femtosecond (fs) laser in ambient air. The structured surface decorated with Au nanoparticles (NPs) exhibits excellent infrared absorption properties related to localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) coupled to microstructures. Over 75% absorption is achieved at 1550 nm, which is three orders of magnitude higher than that of unprocessed Si. The absorption enhancement results in increased photocurre… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
