Fermentative Accumulation of Guanosine Polyphosphate by Brevibacterium ammoniagenes

Abstract: Guanosine-3'-diphosphate-5'-monophosphate (3.35 mg/ml), guanosine-3'-diphosphate-5'-diphosphate (MSI) (5.21 mg/ml), and guanosine-3'-diphosphate-5'triphosphate (MSII) (0.82 mg/ml), in addition to guanosine 5'-monophosphate, guanosine 5'-diphosphate, and guanosine 5'-triphosphate, were accumulated by microbial conversion of 5'-xanthylic acid with a mutant of Brevibacterium ammoniagenes.
