Fermi-LAT Detection of GeV Gamma-Ray Emission from The Highly Asymmetric Shell Supernova Remnant: SNR G317.3-0.2

Abstract:In this paper, we report the first extended GeV γ-ray emission, at a significant level of ∼ 8.13σ, from the region of the supernova remnant (SNR) SNR G317.3-0.2 by analyzing ∼ 12.2 years of Fermi Large Area Telescope (Fermi-LAT) Pass 8 data in the work.
