Fever management in acute brain injury

Abstract: Purpose of reviewFever is common after acute brain injury and is associated with poor prognosis in this setting. Recent findingsAchieving normothermia is feasible in patients with ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage and traumatic brain injury.
