Fiber-coupled waveguide-enhanced Raman spectroscopy of trace vapors

Abstract: We report the first Raman detection of trace vapors with a fiber-attached photonic integrated circuit. We detected DMSO and MeS vapor with waveguide-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (WERS) using integrated edge couplers, lattice filters, and sensing trenches.
