Fibers and Textiles for Fully Bio-Based Fiber Reinforced Materials

Textiles are common materials everyone is using every day. However, most people are not aware of the processes involved in making textiles such useful material. The article provides an overview of dyeing and finishing processes of commonly used textile materials. Dyeing processes for the coloration of a textile fabric and fabric finishing for treating fabrics at the end of their production to impart specific properties to the textile products are discussed.
