Field‐based clinical experiences in science teacher education

Abstract: This paper reviews a series of field-based clinical experiences which are among those we are currently developing in the preservice science teacher-preparation program at the University of Iowa. In the current program, sophomore, junior, and senior students are participating in a series of clinical experiences and coordinating seminars.
