Abstract: Nutria, or coypu (Myocastor coypus), are invasive semi‐aquatic rodents present across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Despite successful eradication efforts in certain areas, nutria have resurged in the mid‐Atlantic USA, underscoring the need for advanced monitoring tools.
