Purpose — The aim of this research is to examine the interest of Generation-Z in travel by exploring the factors that influence their choice of tourism destination and reasons for traveling.Method — To collect data for this research, a qualitative method was employed whereby an open-ended online questionnaire was distributed to 71 individuals belonging to the Z generation in Tebing Tinggi City. We utilized thematic analysis as the technique to examine and analyze the data collected.Result — We found that Generation-Z has a psychological need for vacations to alleviate the stress caused by their numerous responsibilities. When traveling, they typically choose the closest and most renowned tourist destination in their area, without spending excessive amounts of money. Popular activities for them include searching for picturesque locations, experiencing local cuisine, and camping. To travel affordably and efficiently, Generation-Z often opts for private vehicles such as motorcycles or cars, which enable them to visit multiple places.Contribution — This study contributes to the body of knowledge on Generation-Z travel behavior and has implications for the tourism industry in terms of catering to this demographic's unique preferences and needs.

Indonesia is a country that has an agrarian title, because of its vast and fertile land area, so that most Indonesian people make a living as farmers. There are also several types of farmers, one of which is a profit-oriented commercial farmer and durian farmers are one of the commercial farmers. This research will focus on the rational choices of durian farmers. The domination of farmers' livelihoods produces a lot of land or crops that farmers plant. The results of these farmers can even reach foreign markets, namely in exports abroad. The research point was conducted by researchers in Pakis Village, Panti District, Jember Regency, East Java. The purpose of this study is to find out how the rational choices of durian farmers are in utilizing the resources that farmers have with farmers as actors, and also the choices or preferences that farmers choose to achieve the goals to be achieved, namely getting the maximum profit with the least capital and also taking into account how maintenance of the plants they will choose to plant on the land they have. The research method used by researchers is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. With the method used by researchers, they can better understand how the phenomenon occurs and also from choosing a phenomenological approach, researchers can also focus more on the individual farmers, how the rational choices of their farmers use their land to achieve the goals they want to achieve. The results of research conducted by researchers are knowing that 1) Farmers are more inclined to choose to rent at Perhutani 2) Selection of durian, banana and coffee plants as plant options for planting 3) Using an intercropping system to maximize land use. This is a rational choice for durian farmers in achieving their goal of maximizing profits.

Petani tebu menggunakan berbagai saluran untuk memasarkan produknya, namun petani memiliki posisi tawar yang rendah, sehingga tidak memiliki kemampuan untuk bernegosiasi dalam menentukan harga. Tujuan penelitian : (1). Untuk mengetahui pola saluran pemasaran usahatani tebu yang terbentuk di Desa Wonokusumo Kecamatan Tapen Kabupaten Bondowoso, (2) Untuk mengetahui margin pemasaran, share harga pemasaran, dan share biaya pemasaran usahatani tebu di Desa Wonokusumo Kecamatan Tapen Kabupaten Bondowoso, (3) Untuk mengetahui efisiensi pemasaran usahatani tebu di Desa Wonokusumo Kecamatan Tapen Kabupaten Bondowoso. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Pengambilan responden di tentukan dengan menggunakan (total sampling) yakni adalah teknik penentuan sampel bila semua anggota. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitiian ini adalah mencakup bservasi, wawancara, dokumentasiBerdasarkan dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan terdapat dua pola saluran pemasaran tebu di Kecamatan Tapen Kabupaten Bondowoso yaitu : (1) a. Saluran pemasaran nol tingkat tingkat : produsen - pabrik b. Saluran pemasaran satu tingkat tingkat produsen - penebas – pabrik, (2) Hasil perhitungan diperoleh bahwa margin saluran pemasaran 0 tingkat sebesar Rp. 0/kw, dan margin pemasaran pada saluran 1 tingkat sebesar Rp 17.000/kw, (3) Saluran pemasaran 0 tingkat lebih efisien dengan nilai farmer share sebesar 100,00 % sedangkan nilai farmer share pada saluran pemasaran 1 tingkat sebesar 67,31%.
