Figures de l’étranger à Versailles

Abstract: Les programmes décoratifs de Versailles contemporains des premières guerres du roi (1664-1678) se composent de figures de convention tirées de la mythologie, de l’histoire ancienne ou du répertoire allégorique, réitération du décor impérial de celui qui, plus que Roi-Soleil, se voulait Louis-Auguste.
