Filler dependent microstructural and optical properties of PVDF/PEG blends versus PVDF/GO nanocomposites

Abstract: The micro-structural features and the optical properties of polymer blends (PB) of polyvinylidene uoride (PVDF) base with polyethylene glycol (PEG) and polymer nanocomposites (PNC) of PVDF base with graphene oxide (GO) as llers are compared. Different weight fractions of PVDF/PEG and PVDF/GO samples were prepared through solution casting followed by spin coating. The microstructure of PVDF/PEG and PVDF/GO shows formation of immiscible/compatible/ homogenous microstructures over different extents of loading of … Show more

“…Zhao and co-workers [29] introduced the high lithium salt content of h-BN nanosheets/PVDF-based solid-state composite polymer electrolytes. Panda and coworkers [30] reported the filler dependent on microstructural and optical properties of PVDF/GO nanocomposites. Ramanujam and co-workers [31] explored the effect of casting solvent on the structure, electrical, and thermal behavior of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)/carbon nanofiber (CNF) hybrid nanocomposites.…”
