When configuring a cyber-physical system (CPS) in large areas and connecting distributed autonomous devices to it via wireless communication channels, it is necessary to take into account a number of factors that negatively affect the quality of data transfer among CPS elements: Radio signal attenuation, interference, data transfer rate and others, which can lead to the appearance of zones without coverage. The growth in the number of heterogeneous devices with different properties and actual purposes, interacting over a wireless network, leads to the emergence of the problem of providing a speed-satisfactory method for configuring a wireless communication network between heterogeneous devices in a distributed CPS. To solve this problem, algorithms for the repeater locating were developed, which provide configuration of a wireless data transmission network for CPS deployment. The proposed solution allows to increase the speed of configuration with a minimum number of repeaters utilized in a given service area, with the presence of obstacles in the form of surface features of the ground and green spaces.
