Abstract:Objectives: There are many causes of fetal effusions, including the rare lysosomal storage diseases (LSDs). Vacuolated lymphocytes (VLs) are found in the blood of infants with LSDs, and their presence in fetal effusion could increase the risk of underlying LSD.
