Fire Accident Assessment of Leaking Natural Gas from Pipelines

Abstract

Natural gas is a kind of flammable and explosive substances. Fire accident maybe happen when leaking natural gas contact with flame which will consequently lead to the hurt of people and the loss of property. After natural gas leaking from pipeline, it is very important to simulate fire accident and determine the influence scope and consequences for people evacuation. The flowing will be the major researches in this paper. First is to build model of natural gas fire accident. Second is to calculate of flame length and thermal radiation.
