Lightweight steel concrete structures (LSCS) - an innovative energy-efficient building structure type that can be used both as load-bearing and as enclosing one. They consist of profiled steel - usually galvanized and cold-bent - filled with a monolithic foam concrete with a 400kg/m3 density and with fiber cement sheets sheathing. These structures can be used in industrial and civil buildings as internal and external bearing and enclosing wall structures and as slabs, energy-efficient roof covering. According to the LSCS production method, prefabricated panels (walls and slabs) and building site performed constructions are distinguished. The paper presents the testing results with the aim to determine the fire resistance limit of a slab panel fragment by bearing capacity (R), loss of integrity (E), loss of heat insulating capability (I) and fire hazard class. Two samples of a slab panel fragment were selected for the fire resistance high-temperature tests. The actual fire resistance limit of samples of the slab panel fragment is at least REI 60 with a uniformly distributed load 4 kN/m2.

The performance and structural reliability of concrete-to-concrete joints play an important role in precast-cast-in-place constructions, since they are responsible for deformation of concretes of different age, type and strength. The paper studies the effect of the joint type on its bearing capacity under shear loads. A horizontal test bench and a standard vertical press are used in the experiment to provide the shear load along the concrete-to-concrete joint (light cast-situ and heavy precast concretes). The following joint installing is considered: a smooth surface, which provides the concrete joint due to the adhesive and friction forces, and the joint provided by transverse reinforcement. Design features are identified for the joint bearing capacity exhaustion in concretes of different age, type and strength in precast-cast-in-place constructions under shear, depending on the joint type. A comparative analysis is given to the results obtained. It is shown that the transverse reinforcement has a positive effect on the bearing capacity of the concrete-to-concrete joints.

Calculation of fire resistance of building structures in software packages

In the article a review of modern software systems allowing calculating the distribution of temperature fields in a structure in time, without loading and with it (the fire resistance limit of structures) under conditions of a special fire load has been given. The algorithm of the finite element method is used for the calculations, on which each of the considered complexes is based. Specifically: Sofistik, Abaqus, Normcad, Ansys, Robot structure. Comparative analysis has been made from the point of view of intuitive user interface, the possibilities of modeling various conditions and fire regimes, tools for communication with other software complexes and the format of output of results. The results demonstrating the capabilities of the post-processor Sofistik have been presented.
