“…The reason for the serial tests carried out by Pineda and Taswell [8] was the finding of the first Nya carrier outside Norway in a patient of the Mayo Clinic, whose erythrocytes were used as test cells for reverse grouping during blood grouping of another patient, who had an anti-Nya antibody in her serum. This fact led to a difference of the results of the blood grouping.…”
