The specific heat Cm of the magnetic subsystem of reentrant ferrimagnets Li0.5Fe2.5−xGaxO4 with x=0.9 and 1.2 is investigated in the temperature range 1.9–22 K. It is found that, in the low-temperature region of this interval, Cm is a linear function of temperature, while the dependence Cm∼T3/2 is observed for T>11 K. Possible mechanisms responsible for such a behavior are discussed.
