First records of Thecotheus rivicola (Ascobolaceae) in Ukraine

Досліджено видову різноманітність та поширення аскоміцетів на території регіонального ландшафтного парку «Сеймський». У 23 локалітетах парку виявлено 114 видів неліхенізованих сумчастих грибів. Серед них клас Leotiomycetes представлений 41 видом, Dothideomycetes – 34, Sordariomycetes – 23, Pezizomycetes – 15, Taphrinomycetes – 1. Серед порядків найчисельнішими є Erysiphales – 34 види, Capnodiales – 20, Pezizales – 15, Pleosporales – 12, Sordariales – 11, Xylariales – 8 і Helotiales – 7. У родинному спектрі домінують представники чотирьох родин: Erysiphaceae – 34 види, Mycosphaerellaceae – 19, Ascobolaceae та Podosporaceae – по 7 видів, представники яких об’єднують 58,8% загальної кількості виявлених видів аскоміцетів. Наведено список зареєстрованих видів грибів та асоційованих з ними рослин-живителів і живильних субстратів. 103 з виявлених видів аскоміцетів наводяться вперше для території парку. Знахідка інвазійного борошнисторосяного гриба Erysiphе macleayae R. Y. Zheng & G. Q. Chen є новою для території парку та другою у Сумській області. Вдруге на території України виявлені Coprotus ochraceus (P. Crouan & H. Crouan) J. Moravec і Podospora myriospora (P. Crouan & H. Crouan) Niessl. Лише з трьох локалітетів були відомі в Україні Coprotus niveus (Fuckel) Kimbr. і Podospora australis (Speg.) Niessl, в чотирьох – Podospora communis (Speg.) Niessl, Podospora pleiospora (G.Winter) Niessl і Thecotheus pelletieri (P. Crouan & H. Crouan) Boud. Серед зареєстрованих видів сумчастих грибів переважна більшість є біотрофами (35 видів), гемібіотрофами (35 видів) та копрофільними сапротрофами (29 видів). Це представники семи екологічних груп: облігатних паразитів вищих рослин, копрофілів, ксилофілів, філофілів, гербофілів, карпофілів і гумусових сапротрофів. Решта еколого-трофічних груп аскоміцетів у регіональному ландшафтному парку залишаються майже недослідженими.

Distribution of a rare discomycete Miladina lecithina (Pezizales, Pyronemataceae) in Ukraine

The paper reports data on the finding of rare operculate discomycete Miladina lecithina (Cooke) Svrček (Pyronemataceae, Pezizales), representative of monotypic genus Miladina Svrček, which was collected during the mycological researches in the National Nature Park «Kremenetsky Gory» (Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine) in 2013-2016. This species was found on water-soaked wood in the stream. Earlier, the species was recorded in Transcarpathian and Kharkiv regions. M. lecithina belongs to the psilopezioid fungi, a group of operculate discomycetes (Pezizales) that inhabit on wet or water-soaked wood in running water. This species is found in different regions of Europe, Asia, South and North America, as well as Puerto Rico, everywhere it is considered rare. This species inherent feature is ability to form the anamorphic stage, known as Actinospora megalospora, which belongs to the group of aquatic hyphomycetes. Such phenomenon is rather unusual for operculate discomycetes, among which pleomorphic representatives are very rare. Detailed morphological characters, locality, ecological peculiarities, collection dates, data on general distribution and original illustrations of M. lecithina are provided. As a result of investigation of specimens deposited in mycologycal herbarium of the M.G. Kholodny Institute of Botany NAS of Ukraine (KW-M) found that M. lecithina was sometimes erroneously cited under the names Humaria aquatica and H. sydowii. It is proposed to exclude H. sydowii from the list of species of the Pyronemataceae family known for Ukraine. As a result of the generalization of the obtained data the information of six currently known localities of the species in Ukraine and a distribution map of M. lecithina are given.

Current Status and Prospects of Research on Discomycytes of the Hetmanskyi National Nature Park

The species diversity and distribution of discomycetes of the Getmanskyi National Nature Park (Getmanskyi NNP) (Okhtyrskyi district, Sumi region) have been studied. As a result of generalization of own data and analysis of published literature sources 63 species of discomycetes belonging to 36 genera, 19 families, 4 orders and two classes are given: Leotiomycetes - 25 species from 17 genera, Pezizomycetes - 38 species from 19 genera. Among the most numerous orders are Pezizales - 37 species and Helotiales - 13. The family spectrum is dominated by Ascobolaceae - 11 species, Pezizaceae - 6 species, Helotiaceae - 5 species, Ascodesmidaceae, Mollisiaceae, Pyronemataceae and Rhytismataceae. These dominating species make 62.3% of the total number of discomycetes registered in the study area. The article provides an annotated list of relevant species of fungi and associated host plants and nutrient substrates. On the territory of the Getmanskyi NNP the coprophilous discomycete Iodophanus verrucisporus (P.W. Graff) Kimbr., Luck-Allen & Cain was discovered for the first time in Ukraine. Among the registered species, the vast majority belong to the substrate groups of dung-inhabiting ascomycetes (26 species), xylophiles (14), edaphophiles (10) and phyllophiles (6). The prospects of further mycological research on the territory of the Getmanskyi NNP are shown, during which special attention should be paid to the study of certain ecological (bryophilic, pyrophilic, mycophilic, humic) and taxonomic (Helvellaceae, Hyaloscyphaceae, Morchellaceae, Orbiliaceae, Pezizaceae, Pyronemataceae, Tuberaceae) groups of discomycetes.
