First Report of Black Fig Fly,Silba adipata(Diptera: Lonchaeidae), in the United States

Abstract: The black fig fly, Silba adipata McAlpine (Diptera: Lonchaeidae), is a Mediterranean insect that exclusively reproduces on figs, Ficus carica L. (Rosales: Moraceae).
