First report of canine ocular thelaziosis by Thelazia callipaeda in Portugal

Abstract: BackgroundThelazia callipaeda eyeworms are transmitted by the non-biting insect vector Phortica variegata in Europe and infest the conjunctiva(s) of several mammalians, including dogs and humans.
