First Report of Dutch Elm Disease Caused by Ophiostoma novo-ulmi in South Korea

Abstract: During a routine survey conducted in July 2021, several dead and dying Ulmus macrocarpa trees were observed in an urban forest located in the Gyeonggi Province of South Korea. The trees had symptoms of wilt with yellowing and browning of leaves, and, in most cases, the trunks of dying trees were infested by bark beetles.
