“…Morphological characterization has played an important role in characterizing and identifying the isolates in this study. Based on the mycelial growth rate and development pattern, isolates were initially categorized into 2 categories: group I consisted of B. sorokiniana isolates with relatively slow growth rate, seldom covering the entire plate ( Aggarwal et al, 2009 ) and group II consisted of B. spicifera , B. oryzae , and E. rostratum isolates with faster growth rates ( Biswas and Das, 2018 ; Dhara et al, 2020 ; Devi et al, 2021 ) ( Figure 2 ).
