Abstract:Peanut (Arachis hypogaea) is a leguminous food crop in Kenya, whose yields are probably affected by Peanut stripe virus (PStV) belonging to the genus Potyvirus and family Potyviridae, that causes Peanut stripe disease (PSD), also referred to as groundnut stripe disease (GSD).
