First report of sea cucumber species (Holothuroidea: Holothuriidae) in Matanchén Bay, México

Abstract: Sea cucumbers (holothuroids) play a major role in coastal environments; their detritivore conduct favors oxygen penetration in the sediments and the disposal of pathogens on the sea floor.
