Within a short period of time, the new virus spread globally: during 2018 it was identified in tomato plants grown in Mexico, USA, Germany, Italy, and the Palestinian authority [ 19 , 20 , 21 , 22 , 23 ], and recently in Turkey, China, Greece, Egypt, and Spain [ 24 , 25 , 26 , 27 , 28 ].
