First report on female monozygotic twins discordant for congenital nephrogenic diabetes insipidus

Abstract: Ninety percent of congenital nephrogenic diabetes insipidus (NDI) are X‐linked inherited and are caused by mutations in the vasopressin type 2 receptor gene (AVPR2). Most affected individuals are males. Only sporadic female cases have been reported.
