Abstract: Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a progressive lung disease with an unknown underlying cause. There is no complete cure for IPF; however, two anti‐fibrotic agents (Nintedanib and pirfenidone) are approved by the USFDA to extend the patient's life span.
