“…Given the lack of work in the waste specific data quantifying reporting management systems capabilities, authors suggest producing more systems related research and wide-scale scientific databases mapping studies to specify what exact areas have already started to receive academic contributions and where should be the largest research gaps. Also, big picture fleet-level studies [52][53][54][55] could be beneficial, as shown in this preliminary literature review. In this context, the journal articles are highly appreciated by other academics (a lot of references for a large amount of found studies).…”

“…On another hand, the flue gas scrubber system providers should put a lot of effort on transforming their asset-based business model to include digitalized services [23] that transform the performance gains the unit provides, to factual data which is provided to customers in clear form reports and easily to be read KPI (Key Performance Indicators) measurements. This should be followed by fleet level thinking, collecting this asset-based data from all unit around the world and start to enhance the efficiency of units by managing them like a fleet if units (more efficient spare part handling, global knowledge base for enhancing implementation and "in use" efficiency and so on) [33,34]. And it would make a lot of sense in nowadays digitalization times to apply the enormous potential of AI platforms to this fleet to improve the design of these flue gas scrubber units in future, based on global level fleet data analysis [35] and by so doing enhancing both the circularity of these units and the on use time efficiency which deduces the environmental impact of the CHP energy factories, where these are implemented into.…”

“…Development of asset data management capabilities for integrating systems and processes is highly relevant in this process (Koronios et al, 2005; Figure 1. Changing focus of asset management IJQRM 39,2 Kortelainen et al, 2016;Metso and Kans, 2017) as companies have to deal with increasing amounts of unstructured heterogeneous data and face the problems of data quality (Sarfi et al, 2012;Gao and Koronios, 2015;Woodall et al, 2015;Razmi-Farooji et al, 2019).…”
