Abstract:Dynamic frequency scaling is broadly available among different modern computer architectures, making it possible to improve the performance and energy efficiency of an application by carefully setting the core frequency. However, while an exhaustive tuning is feasible on simple single-kernel applications, in real-world applications comprised of multiple tasks, the set of possible frequency setting combinations is too large to be exhaustively evaluated. This work deals with the problem of optimizing a multi-task… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
