Floppy eyelid syndrome (FES) is a benign condition that leads to eyelid mispositioning. While it typically resolves on its own, it can present with various symptoms such as upper eyelids overriding the lower ones, medial canthal laxity, and erythema due to exposure to conjunctival involvement. We report the first case in Latin America, specifically in Bogota, Colombia, of a child under 3 months of age with FES associated with trisomy 21 and hordeolum, showing progressive resolution over time. This case highlights the potential associations between FES and congenital disorders.
