“…140 Fluorometric determination without phase separation of thiamine has been demonstrated as an alternative to HPLC. 141 Folic acid, a form of the water-soluble vitamin B 9 , is essential for numerous bodily functions and is especially important for women during pregnancy. 117 Levels of folic acid and folatebinding protein (FBP), a protein that regulates the assimilation, distribution, and retention of folates in mammalian cells, have been measured in breakfast cereals, milk, and soy-based infant formulas using SPR.…”

“…38 These advantages are expected to greatly enhance when continuous liquid-liquid microextraction (LLME) is coupled to FIA. [39][40][41][42][43] Sequential injection analysis (SI) as a family of FIA techniques is based on the same principles: sample (and reagent) injection, controlled dispersion, and reproducible timing. However, in the SI mode, sample and reagent zones are sequentially stacked upstream from the injection valve, and subsequently mixed by reversing of the flow.…”

“…Since the rst report on ow injection-liquid-liquid extraction (FI-LLE) by Karlberg and Thelander, 23 an extensive amount of research work has been directed towards establishing different types of segmenters, extraction coils, separators, as main components of the FI-LLE manifold, as well as its automation using microcontrollers and relative controlling soware. [24][25][26][27][28][29] In 1988 Valcarcel and et al reported a novel strategy for liquid-liquid extraction in continuous-ow systems without phase separation, in which a single segment of organic solvent interacts with an aqueous sample for separation purposes while none of the typical components for on-line extraction are incorporated. [30][31][32][33] In the present study, we employed a similar strategy to our previous work 34 in order to develop another ow-injection liquid-liquid microextraction (FI-LLME) method for the selective uorimetric determination of CL-15 explosive.…”
