Abstract:In this work, the flow characteristics of suspensions of Carbon Nanotube (CNT) concentrations have been flown through microchannels under a pressure gradient. The suspensions of CNTs were made using sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate (NaDDBS) as a surfactant. Flow rate of wax intercalated Carbon Nanotubes were also investigated, which will be extended for studying heat transfer characteristics of these nanoencapsulated Phase Change materials (PCMs) under a constant heat flux at the walls of the microchannel.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
