Abstract:ResumenEl tomate de cáscara (Physalis philadelphica Lam) es un cultivo importante en México. Una de las principales limitantes fitosanitarias que afectan y reducen el rendimiento son los trips (Thysanoptera: Thripidae), que dañan los tejidos, desprenden parte del tejido celular de hoja y flor, y en ataques severos los botones florales no abren y se secan prematuramente.
