Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer Analysis of Quadratic Free Convection in a Nanofluid Filled Porous Cavity

Abstract: The involvement of non-linear convection effects in a natural convective fluid flow and heat transfer along with the effects of magnetic field in a porous cavity is studied numerically. Cu-water filled cavity of higher temperature at the left wall and lower temperature at the right wall. The governing equations are organized to achieve the required flow by using two-dimensional equations of energy, continuity and momentum. Vorticity-stream function based dimensionless equations are solved using the finite diff… Show more

“…Moreover, a detailed study of heat transfer within a natural convective enclosure filled with nanofluid/hybrid nanofluid was studied by Jino and coworkers. [52][53][54][55] Recently, Sarwar et al 56 The present study aims to explore research questions that have not been previously investigated based on the available literature. The research question includes: (1) How does time-fractional order affect the HMT characteristics of a fluid past an EAVP under MHD-free convection by using timefractional modeling?…”

“…It is noted that the Sherwood number decreases when the concentration of nanoparticles within the nanofluid increases. Moreover, a detailed study of heat transfer within a natural convective enclosure filled with nanofluid/hybrid nanofluid was studied by Jino and coworkers 52–55 . Recently, Sarwar et al 56 examined the slip effects on HMT fluid flow over an EAVP under MHD–TFNC, heat generation, and chemical reaction.…”
