Abstract:Metal oxide nanosheets are increasingly used as catalysts, hard coatings and transparent thin films. Among these materials, TNSs (Titanate Nanosheets) synthesized in liquid phase enjoy particular attention due to their water dispersibility, photocatalytic activity, unique morphology and ease of synthesis. Importantly, the photo-induced redox reaction between TNSs and metal oxides affords potentially fluorescent metal-supported TNSs with enhanced photocatalytic activity, e.g., Ln/TNSs (Lanthaide-supported TNSs)… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
