Fluorescent optotracers for bacterial and biofilm detection and diagnostics

Abstract: Effective treatment of bacterial infections requires methods that accurately and quickly identify which antibiotic should be prescribed. This review describes recent research on the development of optotracing methodologies for bacterial and biofilm detection and diagnostics.
