Abstract:Early and accurate diagnosis of glaucoma is crucial to prevent the progressive deterioration that leads to irreversible vision loss. It is imperative to develop an effective screening tool for glaucoma. Ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF) is a tear biomarker implicated in glaucoma pathogenesis.
