Abstract:Focal shift of radially laguerre polarized Bessel Gaussian beams induced by cosine phase masks are investigated theoretically by vector diffraction theory. Results show that when the radially polarized laguerre Bessel Gaussian beam with cosine phase plate is focused, the focal pattern differs considerably with frequency parameter (C) in the cosine function term. Increasing the value of frequency parameter in the cosine part of the phase mask, focal shift may occur, simultaneously, the focal shift direction may… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
