Abstract:We read the article recently published in your journal, "Racialized inequities in live birth after cancer: a population-based study of 63,000 female adolescents and young adults with cancer." 1 The study provides a valuable look at birth outcomes among adolescent and young adult cancer survivors, particularly with regard to racial disparities. Whereas the study provides insights into important health inequities, we believe it can be further strengthened in several key areas.
