Abstract:A vast range of optical imaging techniques strive toward high-resolution imaging at elevated penetration depths. However, as the light travels through biological tissue, it gets scattered, leading to image deterioration with increasing imaging depth. Consequentially, a number of wavefront-shaping techniques have emerged, aiming to control the scattered light by tailoring the illumination wavefront. We propose a novel wavefront-shaping device based on integrated photonics which, compared to the conventional liq… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
