Form of Activity Culture in Talimaa’ Kayaan Dayak Tribe

Abstract

The study aims to describe the form of cultural form in the oral literature of Talimaa' Dayak Kayaan tribe. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a literary anthropology approach. The source of this research data is the oral literature of the Talimaa Dayak Kayaan tribe. Data collection techniques are interviews, observations and documentation with Talimaa speakers of the Kayaan Dayak tribe. The validity of this research data uses theory triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis is carried out by data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and conclusions. The result of this study is that Talimaa' oral literature represents three cultural manifestation activities; 1) kinship; 2) economics; 3) religious. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the form of culture in the form of activities from human actions in everyday life as research that lives as the activities of the Dayak Kayaan tribe.
