The article analyzes the approach to training risk managers within Industry 4.0. An analysis of the fourth stage of the industrial revolution and requirements for specialists involved in ensuring company safety at enterprises was carried out; the legislation on labor protection management was investigated. The main task is to train a risk manager able to assess and manage risks. The main educational program for training technosphere safety experts, which develops skills for assessing technogenic, natural and social risks in new conditions, is analyzed. The article shows that in order to train professionals, it is necessary to apply active learning methods and encourage research on the transition to Industry 4.0.
