Formation of nanostructured light-guiding films based on octavinylsilsesquioxane and polyvinylsilsesquioxane using structured aluminum oxide

Abstract: In this work, an octavinylsilsesquioxane film has been formed on an anodized aluminum substrate with a highly organized surface oxide layer. Transferring the resulting film on a polyvinylsilsesquioxane substrate, multilayer film waveguides are formed on the basis of octavinylsilsesquioxane nanowhiskers. Their optical properties are studied.
