In the article, it is noted that in the modern world, in the context of global socio-economic and political changes, the problem of tolerance is attracting increasingly more attention, and this, in turn, engages more researchers to its solution. Intolerance has become one of the biggest global problems of the modern world. In these conditions, it is important for science and practice to resolve the issue of identifying the conditions for the development of tolerance, tools with which to determine the level and ways of its development, based on individual, age, and other personality characteristics. It can best be achieved in the conditions of higher education. In the article, the key and root issues of intolerance among student youth are outlined, and vectors of systemic integration of shaping tolerance into higher education curricula are suggested.
