Abstract: Ferroptosis is a newly discovered type of cell death that exerts a crucial role in hepatic fibrosis. Formononetin (FMN), a natural isoflavone compound mainly isolated from Spatholobus suberectus Dunn, shows multiple biological activities, including antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, and hepatoprotection.
