Abstract:Oral lyophilisates are one of the orodispersible tablets produced by lyophilization technique. Due to their porous structure, they instantly disintegrate when contacting saliva. Generally, they are suitable for drugs with a short onset of action, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
