Formulation and Evaluation of Buccoadhesive Patch Containing Antihypertensive Drug

Abstract: In this investigation, buccal patch of valsartan was prepared using different concentration of Poylethylene glycol 6000 by solvent evaporation method and were evaluated for thickness, drug content uniformity, bio-adhesion strength, % swelling index, folding endurance and in vitro drug release.
