Formulation and evaluation of lovastatin oral disintegration thin films

Abstract: Lovastatin is a statin drug used to prevent and treat coronary heart disease and to treat high cholesterol. In the present study, oral disintegrating thin films (ODTs) of lovastatin were designed with a view to enhance patient compliance by solvent casting method.
