Abstract:Je me propose de rendre compte ici de ce que Gérard Genette (1987) nomme la mouvance du paratexte, et plus particulièrement des motifs qui expliquent l'abandon, la reprise ou l'accumulation, au fil des rééditions d'une œuvre donnée, des textes d'escorte: préfaces, introductions et autres avant-propos, éléments paratextuels pouvant déterminer en partie l'accueil réservé à un ouvrage et à son auteur.
