Fossil heritage conservation in Scotland

Abstract: A globally significant palaeontological resource is an integral part of Scotland's geoheritage. A strong amateur collector tradition, extending back over two centuries, has helped fuel scientifi c advance with the fossil resource also supporting hobby collecting.
